Humanoid robot at the Dunajská Streda fair 2026

On Saturday 26 September 2026 we spent the day with a humanoid robot at the fair in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia. From the late morning on stage to the early evening among the tables by MOL Aréna, the robot danced, posed for photos with visitors and wore advertising for the real estate agency PlusReality the whole time.
A day by MOL Aréna
A fair is exactly the kind of event where a humanoid robot makes sense: packed streets, families with children, stalls, a stage with a programme and a Ferris wheel. Our Unitree G1 humanoid robot was on the fairground by MOL Aréna from the late morning until the evening. So that it could be seen in the crowd from far away, it wore an orange wig.
Walking advertising for PlusReality
This time the robot was not just an attraction. All day it worked as an advertising carrier for the real estate agency PlusReality. On its chest it wore their logo with the address plusreality.sk, and on its back an advertising board with a QR code that takes visitors straight to their website.
The board was in Hungarian, for the local visitors: “Eladná az ingatlanát? Egy robot nem adja el. Mi igen.” In English: Would you sell your property? A robot won't sell it. We will. Advertising with a punchline, and people stopped to read it.
On stage with the band
In the late morning the robot also made it onto the fair's stage, joined a band's performance, and stayed on stage among the performers afterwards. Between programme items it posed on the path with a giant inflatable panda and with everyone who stopped by.
Why a robot works at a fair
- It stops people. A humanoid walking and dancing between the stalls is a reason to stop, even for those just passing by.
- The advertising is in every photo. Whoever photographs the robot also photographs the logo on its chest and the board on its back.
- It speaks the audience's language. We prepare the artwork on the robot in the language most of the audience speaks, in southern Slovakia also in Hungarian.
- It reaches whole families. Parents come to the fair with their children, and the robot wins over both generations at once.
