Privacy policy
We value your privacy. In this policy we explain what personal data we process when you contact us via the form on the robotrental.sk website, for what purpose we use it, how long we keep it and what rights you have as a data subject. Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.
1. Controller
The controller, which determines the purpose and means of processing personal data, is the operator of the robotrental.sk website. In all matters concerning the protection of personal data you can contact us by e-mail at info@robotrental.sk.
Note: Before going live, add the controller's statutory identification details to this section: business name, registered office, company ID and, where applicable, the entry in the commercial register. Without these details the identification of the controller is not complete.
2. What personal data we process
We process only the data you voluntarily provide to us by filling in the contact form or by direct e-mail communication. This is in particular:
- your name and, where applicable, the name of the company you represent,
- your e-mail address,
- the content of your message and the details of the planned event that you provide (for example the date, type of event, requirements),
- technical data automatically generated by the web server (for example the IP address and time of the request) for the purpose of operating and securing the website.
We do not request and do not knowingly process any special categories of personal data (sensitive data). Please do not include them in the form.
3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
We process your data for the purpose of handling your enquiry, preparing a quote and subsequent communication. The legal basis is:
- your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by ticking the consent box in the form,
- taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
- our legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website and protection against misuse under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Retention period
We keep personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the stated purpose, that is, while the enquiry and subsequent communication are being handled. If no cooperation results, we delete the enquiry data no later than 24 months after the last contact, or earlier if you withdraw your consent. If a contractual relationship arises, we keep the data for the period required by the applicable legislation.
5. Recipients and processors
We do not provide your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes and we do not sell it. Access to the data may be granted only to our processors, who provide the technical operation of the website and e-mail communication for us, in particular the web hosting provider. These processors process the data exclusively on our instructions and on the basis of a data processing agreement.
The website uses the Google Fonts service to display fonts. When it is loaded, technical data (for example the IP address) may be transferred to Google's servers. This transfer is governed by Google's privacy policy.
6. Cookies and analytics
The robotrental.sk website does not use marketing or tracking cookies and does not create advertising profiles of visitors. It uses only technically necessary elements required for the basic functioning of the site. If we deploy analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where necessary, ask for your consent.
7. Your rights as a data subject
In connection with the processing of your personal data you have the following rights under the GDPR:
- the right of access to your personal data and to information about its processing,
- the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten),
- the right to restriction of processing,
- the right to data portability,
- the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- the right to withdraw consent at any time, whereby withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
You can exercise your rights by e-mail at info@robotrental.sk. We will handle your request without undue delay and no later than within one month.
8. Data security
We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or misuse. The website is operated over a secure encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to enquiry data is restricted to authorised persons only.
9. Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your personal data has breached the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, website dataprotection.gov.sk.
10. Changes to this policy
