Why hire a robot
Buying a humanoid means a long delivery time, a high upfront investment and the risk that the hardware sits idle before the team finishes its first prototype. Rental removes that risk. You have the robot for exactly the period of a sprint or a project and you pay only for the time you are actually developing.
A real humanoid reveals what simulation hides: sensor latency, motor noise and the limits of balance. Your team tunes under conditions that match deployment. An open SDK is available, along with an operator who gets the platform running for you and advises on integration into your codebase.

Which SDK will our team get access to?
With NOVA you work with an open SDK in Python, C++ and ROS. You can upload your own scripts, define movements and integrate the robot into your codebase. The operator gets the platform running for you at the start and explains the interfaces.
Can we use the robot for regression testing of movements?
Yes. The robot repeatedly plays back defined movement cycles, so after every code change you can verify that the behaviour has not changed. It is a practical way to catch regressions before they reach deployment.
What if we need the robot for just one development sprint?
That is exactly what rental is ideal for. You get the robot for precisely the length of the sprint or project phase and return it afterwards. You pay only for the period when you are actually working with it.
