An open research platform for your lab or department, on which you study locomotion, artificial intelligence and manipulation on a real humanoid.
From 1 500 € / day with an operator for multi-day rental, with an operator and the full SDK, excluding VAT. Single-day rental, script and transport quoted individually.
Why hire a robot
Research projects run in cycles of grants and semesters, not to the rhythm of purchasing departments. Rental aligns the platform with that pace. You have the robot for the period of an experiment, a publication plan or an entire project, and you do not have to tie up capital in hardware that ends up in a cupboard once the topic is finished.
NOVA, based on the Unitree G1 EDU, is an open platform that does not close any doors. On it you study walking algorithms, reinforcement learning and manipulation, and you measure results on real data, not just in simulation. An operator and start-up support help with integration into your research setup.

Can we rent NOVA for the length of an entire research project?
Yes. We provide the platform short-term for a single experiment and long-term for an entire project or grant cycle. We adapt the rental period to the research schedule and your team's publication plan.
Is the platform suitable for sim-to-real policy transfer?
Yes. NOVA, based on the G1 EDU, is an open platform on which you deploy policies trained in simulation to a real body and measure how the behaviour transfers to the physical world. That is a frequent goal of locomotion research.
Will you help with integration into our research setup?
Yes. When the platform is being set up, support and an operator are available to guide you through the SDK and ROS interfaces. The aim is for your team to work on the research itself as soon as possible, not on getting the hardware running.
