Christmas party robot: a programme that beats the raffle

The company Christmas party is the most common event of the year and also the one where the programme repeats itself the most. A band, a speech, a raffle. A robot that hands out gifts, dances with the managing director and poses for a photo with the whole department is a programme people are still talking about in January. Here is how to put the evening together.
Why the Christmas party in particular
A Christmas party has three qualities that suit a robot. People arrive in the mood to have fun. The programme has clear points the robot can be built into. And everyone takes photos. The robot is not a substitute for entertainment, it is the moment that kick-starts it.
The second reason is practical. December is the only month when demand for robots exceeds the number of free dates. Those who book in September and October choose their date. Those who book in November take what is left.
Scenario of the evening with a robot
18:00 Arrival: the robot welcomes guests at the door
The robot in a Santa hat or with a company scarf welcomes guests, waves and poses for photos. The first thirty minutes of the evening take care of themselves, nobody stands nervously at the bar.
19:00 Opening: the robot introduces the speech
The robot walks onto the stage, thanks people for the year and hands over to the managing director. A speech introduced by a robot is listened to even by those who otherwise look at their phones during speeches.
20:00 Awards and gifts
The robot presents the awards for the year or hands out gifts to the raffle winners. Every handover is a photo the recipient keeps. We recommend a maximum of fifteen handovers so the programme does not drag.
21:00 Dance: the robot opens the dance floor
A short robot choreography to a Christmas song or the company anthem, then it invites the managing director or a random guest to dance. The dance floor fills up without the DJ having to beg. This is the moment that goes on social networks the same evening.
22:00 Free entertainment
The robot walks between the tables, poses for photos, shakes hands. No programme, just as a guest everyone wants to meet. After two hours it says goodbye and leaves, and the programme continues.

What needs to be prepared
A flat area of about three by three metres near the stage, a socket for charging and a programme with timings. You deliver the texts and music a week in advance. If the party is outside Bratislava or Košice, we arrange transport and accommodation for the operator, we travel all over Slovakia.
Price and booking
Rental starts from 1 000 € per day with an operator for a multi-day rental, excluding VAT. A one-day Christmas party, the scenario and transport are priced individually, and we send a quote within 24 hours. A refundable deposit applies to the hire. We recommend booking December dates by October at the latest.
