A robot for congresses, conferences and corporate events

Prague hosts more congresses, conferences and corporate events than any other Czech city, and many of them run in English for an international audience that has seen plenty. A humanoid robot gives them a moment they remember: it opens the programme, welcomes a speaker, hands over an award at a gala dinner or stands as a photo point at registration. At a conference, a short appearance at a fixed point in the programme works best, followed by free movement among guests during the break.

For a corporate event, a client evening or a Christmas party, we write the script around your programme. The robot shakes hands, dances and poses for photos while the operator keeps a safe distance from guests and sets the pace. The robot's spoken lines are prepared in advance in the language of your event.

For an outdoor part of the programme, such as a hotel terrace or promotion on a square, the robot dog ORYX is the better fit. It copes with paving and grass, and at larger events we deploy it alongside the humanoid.

Product launches and press conferences

We rehearse the choreography and timing in advance with the event script and the show caller, so the appearance lands on the music, the lights and the host's cue.

At a press conference, one well-timed entrance is often enough: the robot walks to the lectern, shakes hands with the spokesperson and poses for photographers. A short, well-prepared moment is worth more to the media than an hour of show that loses focus.

Working with your agency and production team

Why Prague needs planning ahead

The drive from Bratislava takes about four hours. For a morning programme, the operator arrives the day before and stays overnight in Prague, and the accommodation is a separate item in the quote. During a multi-day congress, the robot can stay on site in a locked back-of-house room while the operator comes in for the agreed blocks.

We recommend booking four to six weeks ahead, and earlier in spring and December. If you have several events in the Czech Republic, combine them. A stop in Brno on the way to Prague, or two Prague dates in a row, noticeably reduces the transport cost.

Robot hire prices in Prague

Robot hire starts from 1 000 € per day with an operator for multi-day hire, excluding VAT. Single-day events, the script and transport are priced in the quote. The invoice is issued by the Slovak company Montari s. r. o. The quote lists:

• The robot and a trained operator for the whole event
• A script and choreography built around your programme
• Transport from Bratislava and back, the operator's travel time and overnight stay
• Spare batteries, set-up and packing on site
• A branded banner or accessories by agreement

Technical minimum in Prague venues

In hotels and congress centres we need a service entrance or goods lift, a clear floor area of about 3 × 3 metres and a power socket. Thin carpet is fine, thick soft carpet is not. We assess stage access in advance from a photo or floor plan. The battery lasts about two hours of active use, so an evening programme is split into blocks with battery swaps.
