Our PLC training is for the people who will really maintain or program the system. It is not a generic textbook course. We take examples from industrial practice and, on request, straight from your own line's project, so participants go back knowing their own program, not just the syntax. The aim is for your maintenance team to handle routine faults themselves and call in external service only when it is genuinely needed.
Our deepest coverage is the Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley platform: ControlLogix in Studio 5000, formerly RSLogix 5000, the older PLC-5, SLC 500 and MicroLogix, PanelView and PanelView Plus operator panels, and FactoryTalk View ME and SE visualisation. On top of that come EtherNet/IP and DeviceNet industrial networks, servo system programming and variable speed drive set-up. We do not skip legacy systems, because in many plants they still control critical machines, and the people who understand them are becoming fewer.
Alongside automation we also teach the IT fundamentals maintenance teams need today: TCP/IP protocols and industrial Ethernet administration, Linux system administration, SQL and database administration. Our trainers are practising engineers who design, commission and service these systems every day. Operator training is a standard part of every system we deliver. We run courses for companies in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, for small groups as well as entire maintenance and programming teams.

ControlLogix PLC training
System fundamentals, maintenance, configuration and programming in Studio 5000. Ladder logic and function blocks, at basic and advanced level.
Legacy Allen-Bradley PLCs
PLC-5, SLC 500 and MicroLogix. Maintenance, fault finding and programming for plants where these systems are still in production.
HMI and SCADA
PanelView Plus, FactoryTalk View ME and SE, and RSView32. Building screens, alarms and trends, from the basics to advanced projects.
Industrial networks
EtherNet/IP and DeviceNet, configuration in RSNetWorx and RSLinx. Network design and solving real-world communication problems.
Servo systems and drives
Servo system programming in ladder logic, plus parameter set-up and diagnostics of servo drives and variable speed drives.
SQL, Linux and Ethernet
TCP/IP and network administration, Linux system administration, SQL and Oracle database administration.

How much does PLC training cost?
The price depends on the length of the course, the number of participants, the level and whether we train at your plant. For a company group we build a bespoke course, which works out better value than training individuals. We send a quote after a short conversation about who is being trained and for what.
How long does a PLC programming course take?
It depends on the level and scope. The basic course for maintenance is shorter and focuses on diagnostics; the advanced programming course has more practical tasks and takes longer. We propose the length based on what participants need to know afterwards.
Is the training suitable for beginners?
Yes, the basic courses only assume knowledge of electrical engineering. We start with system architecture, addressing and fault finding, and introduce programming step by step. The advanced courses build on hands-on experience with the system in question.
Can the training take place at our plant?
Yes, and it is often the best option. Participants learn on their own equipment and do not have to travel. We train in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Do you offer FactoryTalk View and PanelView training?
Yes. We teach application development for PanelView and PanelView Plus in FactoryTalk View ME, advanced projects in FactoryTalk View SE and the older RSView32. The course covers screens, alarms, trends and working with PLC tags.
Will you also train the operators of a new line?
Yes. Operator and maintenance training is a standard part of every system we deliver. On request we extend it with more in-depth maintenance training, so the team can deal with routine faults themselves.
