Robot for healthcare: hire a humanoid robot

A robot for healthcare is a humanoid or a robot dog for health days, prevention campaigns, children's wards and hospital events. It does not provide care, but it brings people to the topic you want to get across to them.

From 1 000 € / day with an operator for multi-day rental, with an operator, excluding VAT. Single-day event, script and transport quoted individually.

Robot for healthcare: hire a humanoid robot

What the robot does in healthcare

At a health day or a prevention campaign the robot stops passers-by and brings them to the stand, where a blood pressure check, a consultation or information about screening awaits them. The humanoid shakes hands, poses and wins attention where leaflets are powerless.

On a children's ward or in a paediatric outpatient clinic the robot is a distraction. A short appearance in the corridor or the playroom gives young patients and their parents an experience that pushes the stress of hospitalisation aside for a while. We plan the programme with the ward management and according to the hygiene rules.

At a professional event, a hospital open day or the opening of a new pavilion the robot works as a topic for the media and a networking point. We deploy it in the same way at medical conferences.

  • Health days and prevention campaigns in the town or a shopping centre
  • Children's wards, playrooms and waiting rooms by agreement with the management
  • Hospital open days and the opening of new premises
  • Recruitment of healthcare staff and presenting the hospital to students
  • Charity events and fundraisers for hospitals and foundations

Why it works in healthcare

Prevention depends on whether people come. The robot gives a reason to stop, and at that very moment the healthcare professional has the opportunity to talk about screening, vaccination or first aid. Attention turns into a conversation, not a leaflet in the bin.

Hospitals and health insurers also need to show that they keep up with the times. A humanoid at an event is a clear signal to the public, the media and future employees. When recruiting nurses and doctors it is a topic that opens a conversation with students.

The robot does not replace staff and does not communicate about health. Its role is to attract people, create a positive emotion and hand the attention over to the professional.

Where and when the robot fits

It works best at public and semi-public events with a clear goal: a campaign, recruitment, an opening, an open day. In clinical areas we assess deployment individually with the management of the facility.

  • A town square, park or shopping centre during a health day
  • A hospital foyer, a polyclinic or a congress hall
  • The playroom or common room of a children's ward
  • A university campus when recruiting for healthcare professions

How the rental works

We deliver, set up and operate the robot the whole time. The operator controls the movement, keeps a safe distance from patients and works with the designated member of staff of the facility. We agree the programme in advance, including hygiene requirements and the areas the robot must not enter.

The battery lasts approximately two hours of active operation, after which the operator swaps it for a charged one. We plan the programme in blocks. The robot needs a flat area of approximately 3 × 3 metres with no stairs or thresholds. Outdoors it works only in dry conditions, rain rules out deployment.

Robot hire starts from 1 000 € per day with an operator for multi-day rentals, excluding VAT. A one-day event and transport are priced in the quote.

Frequently asked questions.

Did not find your answer? Write to us and we will reply within 24 hours.

Can the robot enter a ward with patients?

Only by agreement with the ward management and in compliance with the facility's hygiene rules. The robot can be surface-cleaned and disinfected before deployment. It does not enter areas with a heightened hygiene regime.

How does the robot work with children on the ward?

A short appearance in the playroom or the corridor, a handshake, a photo. The operator sets the pace according to the children's reactions and the recommendations of the staff. The programme is short and can be repeated for several groups.

Can the robot provide health information?

No. The robot is an attraction that brings people to the professional. Specialist content is always delivered by the healthcare professional, the robot only attracts attention and creates an opportunity for a conversation.

Is the robot also suitable for a health insurer's or a pharmacy's campaign?

Yes, prevention campaigns, vaccination days and promotions in pharmacies are typical deployments. The robot works in the campaign's branding and brings people to the stand.
